Responsible for overall administration of the vDHS, and is the direct liaison with VATSIM. and other vSOA's.
Assists the Secretary with day to day operations, and acts as the secretary in their absence.
The Chief of Staff is responsible for Internal Affairs and resolving conflict within the vDHS.
Responsible for all FEMA ops and missions.
Responsible for all CBP ops and missions.
Responsible for Secret Service ops and missions.
Responsible for VATSIM ATO training curriculum, training documentation, VATSIM training compliance, and recruitment of flight instructors.
Responsible for leading other flight instructors in training students.
The Virtual Department of Homeland Security (vDHS) is a virtual airline that aims to accurately simulate the operations of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within the VATSIM network. Our mission is to provide a realistic and professional experience for all members and partner organizations.
Membership at vDHS is open to everyone with a VATSIM account. Those without a VATSIM account are encouraged to create one first before continuing with vDHS.
We offer a comprehensive training programs for new and experienced pilots who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge. Our training includes ATC communications, IFR, VFR, and mission related tasking.
To get involved with the vDHS, a VATSIM CID and Discord account is required. Registration can be complete thru our PhPVMS crew portal. Further instructions are given on our Discord server.
No, the Virtual Department of Homeland Security operates independently and is not affiliated with the real U.S. Department of Homeland Security or any department of the United States Government. Our focus is solely on simulation. No content from vDHS should be used for real world activities.
